Bernard Purzycki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Koloman Šoukal's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Jiří Kalčík could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Bernard Purzycki however easily saved by the left post. Bernard Purzycki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koloman Šoukal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Juliusz Starogardzki fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soczewki Gliwice's protests and gave Juliusz Starogardzki a yellow card for diving instead. Juliusz Starogardzki kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Bernard Purzycki was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Koloman Šoukal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Koloman Šoukal really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Bernard Purzycki was a little too slow when Koloman Šoukal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 2-0. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Cezary Pacholewski sped through FC Cvikovo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lars Teglbrænder. In the 19th minute Bořivoj Štorek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Purzycki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Koloman Šoukal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Bernard Purzycki skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 23rd minute, FC Cvikovo's Jiří Kalčík ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernard Purzycki. Bernard Purzycki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Soczewki Gliwice's Bernard Purzycki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koloman Šoukal in the 26th minute of play. Bernard Purzycki made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Jiří Kalčík sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute Koloman Šoukal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Purzycki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Soczewki Gliwice's Bernard Purzycki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koloman Šoukal in the 38th minute of play. After some careless play in the Soczewki Gliwice defense, Jiří Kalčík kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernard Purzycki. The Soczewki Gliwice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernard Purzycki should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Soczewki Gliwice's Wiktor Grocholski got a free kick in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Jiří Kalčík managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Cvikovo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jiří Kalčík was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernard Purzycki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koloman Šoukal in the 56th minute of play forced Soczewki Gliwice's goalkeeper Bernard Purzycki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Jiří Kalčík left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Cvikovo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiří Kalčík in the 64th minute of play forced Soczewki Gliwice's goalkeeper Bernard Purzycki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 played minutes Soczewki Gliwice got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Pacholewski. Bernard Purzycki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bořivoj Štorek, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Jiří Kalčík had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koloman Šoukal in the 76th minute of play forced Soczewki Gliwice's goalkeeper Bernard Purzycki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Cezary Pacholewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soczewki Gliwice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Cvikovo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Soczewki Gliwice's Cezary Pacholewski got a free kick in the 77th minute. FC Cvikovo's Bořivoj Štorek got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Bořivoj Štorek notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Soczewki Gliwice's Bernard Purzycki. Bernard Purzycki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Soczewki Gliwice's zone, Koloman Šoukal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernard Purzycki came out of the goal and Koloman Šoukal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernard Purzycki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koloman Šoukal in the 84th minute of play. Cezary Pacholewski hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Jiří Kalčík took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernard Purzycki. Bernard Purzycki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. 89 minutes into the match, Soczewki Gliwice's goal looked a bit too open when Jiří Kalčík came free, but Bernard Purzycki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, FC Cvikovo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Vykydal to maneuver through the defense. Soczewki Gliwice's Bernard Purzycki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiří Kalčík in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that FC Cvikovo were the better team. FC Cvikovo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
