José Broutin hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, Alexandrie CF's Ívan James nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hipolito Jayvier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Menossi made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by John-Paul Atlan in the 53rd minute of play forced Belfegor FC's goalkeeper Hipolito Jayvier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Francescoli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabin Françoise having to make a save. Belfegor FC's Clodoveo Rosio was substituted for Enzo Francescoli. Gabin Françoise made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlo Magno in the 66th minute. With a little luck, Alexandrie CF's Gabin Françoise got control of the ball when Carlo Magno tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Alexandrie CF's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Menossi came free, but Gabin Françoise reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Menossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Menossi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gabin Françoise came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucas Menossi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 83rd minute. Carlo Magno scored 2-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabin Françoise, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jean-Charles Bizet came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Alexandrie CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Charles Bizet couldn't finish the play. Carlo Magno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Menossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Belfegor FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Belfegor FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
