If Gao Fei Zheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Westergren got free with Hernani da Rocha in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BK Nerysminne were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after AC Korban's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stanimir Dragnev took the corner. Betinho Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serginho de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Emil Westergren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Hernani da Rocha made a huge save.
