But to his dismay, Robert Firea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 13 minutes Diamond Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robert Firea who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Robert Firea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Diamond Football Club's Rui Peixoto did a great save. Rui Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Bojonca in the 15th minute of play. Rui Peixoto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilie Bojonca's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. A hard shot by Jorge Peres from long distance, 23 minutes into the match, got Florin Feroiu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Gligan in the 25th minute of play forced Diamond Football Club's goalkeeper Rui Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilie Bojonca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Rui Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Peres hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Rui Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Bojonca, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Implant de Ego ™'s Cristinel Junilă in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Luiz Fábio Vianna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ilie Bojonca was the one to do the kick off. Implant de Ego ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diamond Football Club the free kick. The supporters of Diamond Football Club booed when Implant de Ego ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remus Avacariței didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Cristinel Junilă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Implant de Ego ™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Diamond Football Club's Rui Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavius Gligan in the 77th minute of play. The Implant de Ego ™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-9. Implant de Ego ™ played a much better game than Diamond Football Club and deserved their victory. The Diamond Football Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
