The audience was convinced that Nemesio Tabb's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dave Africano was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Davide Anzolin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Nemesio Tabb left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After some careless play in the Montesacro Utd defense, Cornelio Inge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dave Africano. The Montesacro Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dave Africano should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nemesio Tabb to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Cornelio Inge cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Dave Africano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 62 minutes of play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Cornelio Inge made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After some careless play in the Montesacro Utd defense, Cornelio Inge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dave Africano. The Montesacro Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dave Africano should have stopped the shot. After 83 minutes of play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Nemesio Tabb made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dave Africano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 88 minutes of play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Cornelio Inge made it 15-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nemesio Tabb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Africano having to interfere. INDEPENDIENTE F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
