The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Demirhan Yalap was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Buitenhout FC's Rafael van Zeggeren seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rafael van Zeggeren the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Buitenhout FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rafael van Zeggeren had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The Buitenhout FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximino Cristofanini should have stopped the shot.
