After a rather tough play, ADM Taquaras's Michel Rüdiger got a free kick in the 8th minute. MOEBIO were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after ADM Taquaras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Uriel Pere took the corner. ADM Taquaras's Décio Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Mateus in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, ADM Taquaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Cabral to maneuver through the defense. ADM Taquaras's Michel Drogba got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aquiles Castulo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Shevchenko in the 41st minute of play. Aquiles Castulo came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by ADM Taquaras's Dito Donato. But to his dismay, Dito Donato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentin Ortzi was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when MOEBIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Thomas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Michel Drogba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquiles Castulo. MOEBIO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michel Drogba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Aquiles Castulo was a little too slow when Michel Drogba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-4. Michel Shevchenko succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 58th playminute. Aquiles Castulo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Michel Shevchenko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 65 minute of play. MOEBIO's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Michel Shevchenko 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. MOEBIO's Aquiles Castulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dito Donato in the 74th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uriel Pere during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. ADM Taquaras made a substitution. Baltazar França replaced Lauro Alcântara. In the 76th minute, Uriel Pere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Shevchenko in the 78th minute of play forced MOEBIO's goalkeeper Aquiles Castulo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes, Victoriano Silban mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MOEBIO and the ADM Taquaras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MOEBIO's Victoriano Silban got a free kick in the 79th minute. Aquiles Castulo came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by ADM Taquaras's Michel Shevchenko. But to his dismay, Michel Shevchenko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. In the 85th minute, ADM Taquaras's Rui Cabral dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Reinaldo Ferraz hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Décio Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Ortzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ADM Taquaras walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
