The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Strong Body helped the player get up and apologised. 9 minutes into the game, BERMEJO's Joaquin Lorien nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Steen Müür made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A collision led to BERMEJO getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jacinto Varela hit a great ball. Ramon Zadelhoff lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 13th minute, Ramon Zadelhoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Dantae missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 15 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Steen Müür right hand side. Hernan Goren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boukjan van Dongen in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Heineken Youths's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Varela came free, but Steen Müür reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joaquin Lorien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Steen Müür showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute BERMEJO were awarded a corner. Rogelio Senen went to the cornerflag to take it. BERMEJO's Rogelio Senen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Steen Müür in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Boukjan van Dongen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hernan Goren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Heineken Youths players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BERMEJO were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Boukjan van Dongen made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Heineken Youths getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Steve Heikens hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Heineken Youths's Boukjan van Dongen got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Heiko Cruijff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of BERMEJO booed when Heineken Youths was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heiko Cruijff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Goren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boukjan van Dongen's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. If Edgar van Rijswijk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Heineken Youths's Steen Müür got control of the ball when Bruno Romildo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruno Romildo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Steen Müür made a huge save. Hernan Goren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boukjan van Dongen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernan Goren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boukjan van Dongen, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Heineken Youths fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BERMEJO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
