Bengt Askberg started the match with the kick off. ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s Jacob Belém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Ånger in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s Dobromir Nakoneczny nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pelle Wennerqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 14th minute Dobromir Nakoneczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelle Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pelle Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Nakoneczny in the 20th minute of play. If Bengt Askberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s Haşim Tekcan got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When Bengt Askberg came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the IKS Norrköping fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt Askberg couldn't finish the play. Baycan Pektürk's late challenge caught a IKS Norrköping's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baycan Pektürk helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of IKS Norrköping booed when ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baycan Pektürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lennart Åman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacob Belém. ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 28 minutes in the game, Pekin Acarbey fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pelle Wennerqvist having to interfere. Fehmi Tunçkılıç hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Yu Jing Bin scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacob Belém, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yu Jing Bin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jacob Belém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Dobromir Nakoneczny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pelle Wennerqvist. IKS Norrköping's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dobromir Nakoneczny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

Yu Jing Bin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Jacob Belém made a huge save. 72 minutes into the game, IKS Norrköping's Yu Jing Bin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After a defensive mix-up in ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s zone, Yu Jing Bin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacob Belém came out of the goal and Yu Jing Bin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Yu Jing Bin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacob Belém. That made the score 3-3 in the 82 minute of play. IKS Norrköping's Melker Bäckman was substituted for Bengt Askberg. Yu Jing Bins short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Jacob Belém to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 93 minutes into the match, IKS Norrköping's goal looked a bit too open when Dobromir Nakoneczny came free, but Pelle Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to IKS Norrköping getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. John Ånger hit a great ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
