Julius Vanneste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Limburg United's Yves Schollens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Trenton Call narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute of the match, Ari Holcomb got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julius Vanneste was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Limburg United's Julius Vanneste proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Limburg United from getting a goal against them. Julius Vanneste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerome Negron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Brendan Otto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Vanneste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 minutes, Luke Demarez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limburg United and the Black Knights FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Limburg United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luke Demarez to maneuver through the defense. After 25 played minutes Black Knights FC got a freekick which was hit by Cole Kidd. Julius Vanneste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Otto, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Douglas Debecker notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Black Knights FC's Trenton Call. Trenton Call was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Limburg United's zone, Brendan Otto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Vanneste came out of the goal and Brendan Otto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xander Van Aarschot hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Julius Vanneste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Otto, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 43 minutes, Henri-Xavier Van Der Talen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limburg United and the Black Knights FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Henri-Xavier Van Der Talen. With a little luck, Limburg United's Julius Vanneste got control of the ball when Jon Stapleton tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
After a rather tough play, Black Knights FC's Hugo Harrison got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Louis-Philippe Leyman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute Brendan Otto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Vanneste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Limburg United's Julius Vanneste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Montano in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brendan Otto in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julius Vanneste prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute Brendan Otto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Vanneste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute Black Knights FC were awarded a corner. George Cao Xiao went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Black Knights FC's George Cao Xiao to fire away a dangerous shot which Julius Vanneste despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Brendan Otto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Julius Vanneste was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yves Schollens charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yves Schollens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yves Schollens kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Julius Vanneste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerome Negron, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 75 minutes, Brendan Otto made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Limburg United's Julius Vanneste tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Limburg United booed when Black Knights FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Rios didn't get a good kick on the ball. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Markus Montano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leon Burrell fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Knights FC's protests and gave Leon Burrell a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Black Knights FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Leon Burrell hit a great ball. Louis-Philippe Leyman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Trenton Call made a huge save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Black Knights FC fully deserved thier win.
