YESHUA F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ the free kick. In the 16th match minute, YESHUA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner Severo to maneuver through the defense. YESHUA F.C's Emílio Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Simões in the 17th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oséas Palmeira during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of YESHUA F.C booed when Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséas Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd match minute, YESHUA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guga Cosme to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Marquinhos da Costa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emílio Fernandes. That made the score 1-2 in the 39 minute of play. Isaac Mazard hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, YESHUA F.C's Emanuel Vieira got a free kick in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Baeza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. YESHUA F.C's Emílio Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Simões in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goal looked a bit too open when Diodato Cordaro came free, but Nelson Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. YESHUA F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 60 minutes into the match, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goalkeeper Nelson Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Mazard. In the 63rd minute, Rui de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelson Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the game, YESHUA F.C's Vágner Severo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelson Rocha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After a rather tough play, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Tiaguinho Hermes got a free kick in the 71st minute. Kléber Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Vágner Severo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nelson Rocha. That made the score 3-4 in the 89 minute of play. Nelson Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vágner Severo in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Edmundo Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Although Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ had been in control for most of the match, YESHUA F.C still came away with the win.
