In the 7th match minute, Landulfos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. When Landulfos FC's Adhemar de Alcântara in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AF CERRADO's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Schmidt during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomás Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Landulfos FC's Umberto do Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandrinho Sabóia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Umberto do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Landulfos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umberto do Valle couldn't finish the play. When Kaká Goiano fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AF CERRADO's protests and gave Kaká Goiano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Landulfos FC booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaká Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Adhemar de Alcântara came free, but Sandrinho Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Negri in the 30th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Sandrinho Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Landulfos FC's Danilo de Godoi got a free kick in the 35th minute. Sixten Isaksson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Clemente Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AF CERRADO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 50th match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Gerber to maneuver through the defense. Kaká Goiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silas Britto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Sandrinho Sabóia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Umberto do Valle's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The Landulfos FC fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Landulfos FC's Umberto do Valle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Landulfos FC's Danilo de Godoi got a free kick in the 60th minute. Silas Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Damião in the 62nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thiago Damião in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silas Britto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute of the match AF CERRADO got a corner. Landulfos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Clemente Cunha ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sandrinho Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar de Alcântara in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Landulfos FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Danilo de Godoi hit a great ball. Silas Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Damião in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Sandrinho Sabóia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Umberto do Valle. Silas Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Damião in the 72nd minute of the match. Silas Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Danilo de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Silas Britto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thiago Damião's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in AF CERRADO's zone, Róbson Negri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandrinho Sabóia came out of the goal and Róbson Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thiago Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Silas Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Landulfos FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
