Xander Hauri might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramiro Nicholas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xander Hauri ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Barrilete Cósmico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jarno Oderholz came free, but Ramiro Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xander Hauri in the 37th minute of the match. Ramiro Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Kretz in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Kretz made a kick off. Gordy Schweitzer made in the 51st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rupert Schreiber. 53 minutes into the match, Hemmersbacher SV's Alex Kretz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramiro Nicholas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emanuel Cisco lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 56th minute, Emanuel Cisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Kretz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramiro Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Kretz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barrilete Cósmico FC's Ramiro Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarno Oderholz in the 59th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Alex Kretz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ramiro Nicholas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olaf Teufer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Nicholas having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Jarno Oderholz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ramiro Nicholas, 0-4. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Alex Kretz took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Ramiro Nicholas to make any attempt to save it. When Fidel Di Maria fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrilete Cósmico FC's protests and gave Fidel Di Maria a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Fidel Di Maria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarno Oderholz in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Nicholas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 87 minutes into the game, Jarno Oderholz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hemmersbacher SV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrilete Cósmico FC the free kick. If Xander Hauri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barrilete Cósmico FC's Ramiro Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Kretz in the 93rd minute of play. Ramiro Nicholas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Kretz went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The Barrilete Cósmico FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hemmersbacher SV were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
