After 66 minutes of play, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Osmar Rosario made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celsinho Vander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adriano Carneiro hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Delfim Berger was substituted for 余斌亦. 77 minutes into the match, Ernani Xavier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celsinho Vander. AFC - Curitiba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernani Xavier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 82nd minute, Ernani Xavier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ROSÁRIO SPORT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. If Delfim Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ROSÁRIO SPORT fully deserved thier win.
