The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Paulão Freire took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Christos Agathoulis to make any attempt to save it. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Ronaldão Silva got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Christos Agathoulis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulão Freire's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Cosimo Tagliente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Agathoulis having to interfere. Sandrinho Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Christos Agathoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulão Freire during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paulão Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 26 minutes Trifillia.FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sandrinho Cunha who took care of the corner kick. Militros F.C.'s Sandrinho Cunha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christos Agathoulis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Militros F.C. getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Paulão Freire hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Trifillia.FC's zone, Ronaldão Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christos Agathoulis came out of the goal and Ronaldão Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paris Papadimas hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Sandrinho Cunha struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Christos Agathoulis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Militros F.C.. Christos Agathoulis made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Cosimo Tagliente sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 42 minutes, Nikos Traboukidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trifillia.FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikos Traboukidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Sakis Sardelis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trifillia.FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Militros F.C. the free kick. In the 47th minute, Sakis Sardelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldão Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Sandrinho Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Cunha came free, but Christos Agathoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Sandrinho Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Militros F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sandrinho Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christos Agathoulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christos Agathoulis came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Militros F.C.'s Cosimo Tagliente. But to his dismay, Cosimo Tagliente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 62 minutes into the game, Sandrinho Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Christos Agathoulis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Trifillia.FC's zone, Ronaldão Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christos Agathoulis came out of the goal and Ronaldão Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Paris Papadimas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christos Agathoulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandrinho Cunha in the 75th minute of the match. Sandrinho Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandrinho Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sandrinho Cunha hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 84 minutes, Cosimo Tagliente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Militros F.C. and the Trifillia.FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cosimo Tagliente kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Trifillia.FC's Makis Tsipas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerd Pollmann. Gerd Pollmann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Sandrinho Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Christos Agathoulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandrinho Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Militros F.C. were the better team. Militros F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
