Atilano Hernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petru Ghioane, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in La Gallardeta's zone, Petru Ghioane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Hernandez came out of the goal and Petru Ghioane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mihnea Brănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Jon in the 20th minute of the match. After 22 played minutes AFC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Petru Ghioane. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabio Lando in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihnea Brănescu saved AFC Barcelona from getting behind. The La Gallardeta fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when La Gallardeta's Fabio Lando looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cazimir Cangeopol kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Petru Ghioane reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Atilano Hernandez. The goal made the score 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC Barcelona's Nicu Vasilescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Atilano Hernandez. That made the score 2-1 after 37 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Lando in the 41st minute of play forced AFC Barcelona's goalkeeper Mihnea Brănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabio Lando to strike the kick off in the second half. After 70 minutes of play, AFC Barcelona's Petru Ghioane made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atilano Hernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute Vasile Hidiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Hernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Petru Ghioane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Nicu Vasilescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Barcelona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1.
