When Tiberiu Chibulcutean fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC Barcelona's protests and gave Tiberiu Chibulcutean a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes AFC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Tiberiu Chibulcutean. Trifillia.FC's Christos Agathoulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Isăcescu in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Chibulcutean in the 19th minute of play forced Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper Christos Agathoulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandu Colin hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Trifillia.FC's Christos Kavourdoukos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AFC Barcelona. Christos Agathoulis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicu Vasilescu in the 29th minute. AFC Barcelona's Emanuel Isăcescu suffered a concussion after 30 minutes and had to leave the field. 30 minutes into the game, Menios Kapsis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trifillia.FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Barcelona the free kick. AFC Barcelona's Aurelian Iurea was substituted for Emanuel Isăcescu. Menios Kapsis hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Christos Agathoulis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicu Vasilescu in the 35th minute. Trifillia.FC's Christos Agathoulis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Trifillia.FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Trifillia.FC's zone, Tiberiu Chibulcutean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christos Agathoulis came out of the goal and Tiberiu Chibulcutean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petru Ghioane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Christos Agathoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicu Vasilescu came free, but Christos Agathoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trifillia.FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Tiberiu Chibulcutean scored to the left of an out of position Christos Agathoulis, making the score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Makis Tsipas to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Trifillia.FC got a freekick which was hit by Thalis Pirimachos. 55 minutes into the game, Paris Papadimas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trifillia.FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Barcelona the free kick. In the 55th minute, Paris Papadimas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christos Agathoulis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicu Vasilescu went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicu Vasilescu in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christos Agathoulis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute Nicu Vasilescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Agathoulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 minutes of play, AFC Barcelona's Petru Ghioane made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christos Agathoulis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute Nicu Vasilescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Agathoulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
