After 5 played minutes AEK KAVALAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Nikolas Vlastaridis. After 10 minutes of play, RIBEIRÃO FC's Manoel Melo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telis Moras was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudinho Sarmento took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Telis Moras. Telis Moras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Telis Moras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Ilias Stelas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AEK KAVALAS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilias Stelas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Claudinho Sarmento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to AEK KAVALAS FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Özen Hazar hit a great ball. The supporters of RIBEIRÃO FC booed when AEK KAVALAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thrasivoulos Tsartas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half RIBEIRÃO FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinho Sarmento to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Claudinho Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telis Moras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignatios Gittas kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Ilias Stelas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 minutes of play, RIBEIRÃO FC's Eulalio Peio made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telis Moras was left in no man's land by his defense there! José Carlos Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilias Stelas's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. If Manoel Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Telis Moras came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by RIBEIRÃO FC's Claudinho Sarmento. But to his dismay, Claudinho Sarmento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. When Thrasivoulos Tsartas fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AEK KAVALAS FC's protests and gave Thrasivoulos Tsartas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of RIBEIRÃO FC booed when AEK KAVALAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thrasivoulos Tsartas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Telis Moras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Alves in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Claudinho Sarmento fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Telis Moras, passed just outside the right post. Özen Hazar kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over RIBEIRÃO FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AEK KAVALAS FC throughout the match.
