The crowd rose to their feet as Filip Fink kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arrigo Capone. That made the score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. When Damiano Mian came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Gonzo Style f.c fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damiano Mian couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elefanterna's goalkeeper Håkan Hök, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Zisser in the 27th minute of play forced Elefanterna's goalkeeper Håkan Hök to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrico Tassotti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Håkan Hök read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Davide Zisser made a precise shot to the right of Håkan Hök. Elefanterna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 71 minutes Gonzo Style f.c's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filip Fink who took care of the corner kick. Filip Fink made a great header on Elefanterna's corner, it was just that Gonzo Style f.c's Arrigo Capone managed to reach the ball for a save. Filip Fink scored 3-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arrigo Capone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute, Domenico Di Mattia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elefanterna's supporters rose to their feet, but Tord Nyman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arrigo Capone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Elefanterna fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gonzo Style f.c had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
