Dovydas Varnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrey Dvoryankin having to interfere. Ziemowit Barciniak's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Vilmantas Matulas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vilmantas Matulas was a little too slow when Ziemowit Barciniak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-0. FC Žalia Giria's Jack Grealish was substituted for Vytautas Petkus. Astijus Orbakas kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The long shot by Trond Bom in the 38th minute really tested Vilmantas Matulas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 40th match minute, FC Žalia Giria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astijus Orbakas to maneuver through the defense. FC Žalia Giria's Vilmantas Matulas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Žalia Giria from getting a goal against them. Avram Lupoaia was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the game, one of FC Žalia Giria:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Arsenal F.C.s' Vilmantas Matulas just managed to throw himself towards the right post in the 49thth minute after Filipp Loginovs penalty, and stop a certain goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Saúl Gentiletti made the kick off in the second half. Ziemowit Barciniak might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vilmantas Matulas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vilmantas Matulas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Barciniak in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54thth minute of the game Ziemowit Barciniak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Žalia Giria's Vilmantas Matulas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vilmantas Matulas came out of the goal and Ziemowit Barciniak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arsenal F.C. made a substitution. Lazo Ziya replaced Ziemowit Barciniak. Lazo Ziya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vilmantas Matulas having to make a save. 61 minutes into the match, FC Žalia Giria's goal looked a bit too open when Lazo Ziya came free, but Vilmantas Matulas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Žalia Giria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal F.C. the free kick. Astijus Orbakas hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Trond Bom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lazo Ziya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vilmantas Matulas having to make a save. Vilmantas Matulas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lazo Ziya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Augustinas Baltramaitis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Andrey Dvoryankin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the FC Žalia Giria defense, Lazo Ziya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vilmantas Matulas. The FC Žalia Giria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vilmantas Matulas should have stopped the shot. Arsenal F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
