Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck's late challenge caught a Symba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck helped the player get up and apologised. Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The supporters of Symba booed when Bruly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yannis Van Lueven didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Walter Wyns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the game, Isaac Puttemas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Oussama Amor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rudy Duchateau made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Hédi Chippo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck in the 35th minute of play forced Symba's goalkeeper Oussama Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Bruly were awarded a corner. Jannick Montens went to the cornerflag to take it. Jannick Montens made a great header on Bruly's corner, it was just that Symba's Oussama Amor managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Radu Rada put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Symba getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Radu Rada hit a great ball. Jannick Montens took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oussama Amor. Symba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Symba's Oussama Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Puttemas in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hédi Chippo was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oussama Amor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Walter Wyns came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Oussama Amor could save by the left post. 61 minutes into the match, Bruly's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Mkademi came free, but Rudy Duchateau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Symba's Hédi Chippo in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bruly's goalie prevented a goal. Symba were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Bruly's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mohamed Mkademi took the corner. Symba's Mohamed Mkademi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rudy Duchateau in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Yannis Van Lueven's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oussama Amor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Bruly's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Mkademi came free, but Rudy Duchateau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oussama Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck in the 89th minute of play. After 95 played minutes, Bruly's Cesar Raniers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oussama Amor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bruly reached it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bruly had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
