The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ajax's Gigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Abrahamsson in the 7th minute of play. FC Wingspan's Jonathan Almstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save FC Wingspan from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Ajax defense, Jens-Ove Nilsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gigi Buffon. The Ajax fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gigi Buffon should have stopped the shot. Jens-Ove Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ajax's Gigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jocke Nilsson in the 27th minute of play. Jan-Olof Abrahamsson took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigi Buffon. Gigi Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 32 minutes into the match, Jocke Nilsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gigi Buffon. Ajax's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jocke Nilsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Jocke Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Arvin Engman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ajax's Gigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Abrahamsson in the 41st minute of play. Jan-Olof Abrahamsson scored 0-6 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigi Buffon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tytus Dudek to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Abrahamsson in the 60th minute of play forced Ajax's goalkeeper Gigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigi Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Olof Abrahamsson went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Gigi Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvin Engman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jocke Nilsson in the 73rd minute of the match. Tytus Dudek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gigi Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jocke Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Gigi Buffon came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Wingspan's Jocke Nilsson. But to his dismay, Jocke Nilsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Ajax's Gigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Nilsson in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Jens-Erik Åström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Jan-Olof Abrahamsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gigi Buffon. The goal made the score 0-11. After a defensive mix-up in FC Wingspan's zone, Remigiusz Galaska stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Almstedt came out of the goal and Remigiusz Galaska tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gigi Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arvin Engman went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score.
