The supporters of Şamaxı Bankirlər booed when Titanes Mayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Pietro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Titanes Mayas's Anastasio Pietro got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hipolito Txordon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Péter Čech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Pietro in the 43rd minute of play forced Şamaxı Bankirlər's goalkeeper Péter Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Titanes Mayas getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Florencio Goyo hit a great ball. Titanes Mayas's Roberto Elija was substituted for Gustavo Omero. 50 minutes into the match, Şamaxı Bankirlər's Çärkäz Dünyamaliyev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mías Marin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amado Dei to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Txordon in the 59th minute of play forced Şamaxı Bankirlər's goalkeeper Péter Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yaqub Aydinov in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mías Marin saved Titanes Mayas from getting behind. Imre Mihály fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Péter Čech having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Hipolito Txordon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Yu Chuan Jing fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Titanes Mayas's protests and gave Yu Chuan Jing a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Titanes Mayas's Yu Chuan Jing got a free kick in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Amado Dei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Titanes Mayas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Şamaxı Bankirlər the free kick. Amado Dei hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Roberto Elija kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Titanes Mayas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
