After a rather tough play, Green Horses's Demis Mitsis got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Green Horses's Vaios Petridis in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Green Horses fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Green Horses's Vaios Petridis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 41st minute, Notis Bartzokas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo da Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 60th minute, Demis Mitsis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Notis Bartzokas came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Green Horses fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Notis Bartzokas couldn't finish the play. Notis Bartzokas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo da Silva having to make a save. In the 67th minute Vaios Petridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luiz Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After 76 played minutes Matadores FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luiz Secco. 80 minutes into the game, Green Horses's Notis Bartzokas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. It was beautiful to see Matadores FC's Flávio Tinoco in action when he in the 96th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Green Horses walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
