Eduardo Camavinga struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Waldir Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Who Ate All Depay. With a little luck, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Waldir Peres got control of the ball when Henny Meijer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th minute, Tony Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chu Liang Ping scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan van der Werff, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan van der Werff came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Tony Vianna. But to his dismay, Tony Vianna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Waldir Peres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Barcellos Mineiro FC from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute of the match Barcellos Mineiro FC got a corner. Who Ate All Depay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tony Vianna ran over to the corner to take the kick. Henny Meijer came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Waldir Peres could save by the left post. The Who Ate All Depay fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Who Ate All Depay's Henny Meijer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Barcellos Mineiro FC defense, Henny Meijer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldir Peres. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldir Peres should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the game, Guga Capixaba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcellos Mineiro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Who Ate All Depay the free kick. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Guga Capixaba hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the game, Remco Boswijk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Waldir Peres. Remco Boswijk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henny Meijer to make the kick off. Waldir Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henny Meijer in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remco Boswijk in the 56th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Waldir Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chu Liang Ping's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan van der Werff read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Jonathan van der Werff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tony Vianna went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascal Hesp in the 70th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Waldir Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henny Meijer in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldir Peres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan van der Werff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chu Liang Ping, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Percy Prestes hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Who Ate All Depay made a substitution. Osama Sahraoui replaced Pascal Hesp. In the 84th minute, Percy Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Waldir Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remco Boswijk in the 87th minute of play. Jonathan van der Werff made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Chu Liang Ping sent off a good shot on target. Barcellos Mineiro FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tony Vianna in the 90th minute. When Who Ate All Depay's Henny Meijer in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalie prevented a goal. Waldir Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remco Boswijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Waka Barcellos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osama Sahraoui in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldir Peres saved Barcellos Mineiro FC from getting behind. Despite being the better team, Who Ate All Depay failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
