The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Stockholm IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Klintæus to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Stockholm IF's goalkeeper Kasper Löfgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adélio Figueira. Stockholm IF's Kasper Löfgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Vilarinho in the 9th minute of play. Minho FC's Ivan Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Mattsson in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match Aquilino Zarco climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Kasper Löfgren. Kasper Löfgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquilino Zarco went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Isidoro Vilarinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasper Löfgren having to interfere. If Karl Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Stålberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Ribeiro having to make a save. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Minho FC's goalkeeper Ivan Ribeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Stockholm IF defense, Aquilino Zarco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kasper Löfgren. The Stockholm IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kasper Löfgren should have stopped the shot. Kasper Löfgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Andreas Stålberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Stockholm IF's goalkeeper Kasper Löfgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquilino Zarco. Stockholm IF's Kasper Löfgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Zarco in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Kasper Löfgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquilino Zarco went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 57th minute Aquilino Zarco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasper Löfgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Minho FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Hildeberto Vieira hit a great ball. Andreas Stålberg hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Maurício Pimentel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kasper Löfgren was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After 65 minutes, Osvald Kihlberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stockholm IF and the Minho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stockholm IF's Kasper Löfgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Zarco in the 67th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Minho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hildeberto Vieira to maneuver through the defense. Maurício Pimentel struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Kasper Löfgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minho FC. Kasper Löfgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute Jordão Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasper Löfgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kasper Löfgren came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Minho FC's Aquilino Zarco. But to his dismay, Aquilino Zarco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Zarco in the 91st minute of play forced Stockholm IF's goalkeeper Kasper Löfgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Stålberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ivan Ribeiro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Minho FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
