Rurik Ellinghaus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Matheus Carvalho came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC 08 Brühl's Leon Ritter. But to his dismay, Leon Ritter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. In the 97th match minute, FC 08 Brühl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Ritter to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute Severino Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rurik Ellinghaus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
