Valentin Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Zrinzo in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Attard Gunners's Albert Diacono ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valentin Xacintu. Valentin Xacintu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 18th play minutes Andrea Xuereb shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Valentin Xacintu and just under the crossbar into goal. Valentin Xacintu made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Clint Cohen sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Andrea Xuereb kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valentin Xacintu. That made the score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Peruxu got free with Amadeo Rapinett in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute, Thomas Zrinzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute Andrea Xuereb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Xacintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Attard Gunners's Amadeo Rapinett got control of the ball when Israel Tadzio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valentin Xacintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Xuereb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Martin Peruxu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amadeo Rapinett. That made the score 5-1 in the 68 minute of play. Valentin Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Xuereb in the 84th minute of the match. Martin Peruxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Albert Diacono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Xacintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, one of TheBambiTooFurious:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fernando Bartolome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Amadeo Rapinett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 played minutes TheBambiTooFurious got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Bartolome. The supporters of Attard Gunners booed when TheBambiTooFurious was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Cristofol didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 98 minutes, Jake Debono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Attard Gunners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jake Debono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. TheBambiTooFurious's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
