Krister Hedberg kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Virgilio Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Rolandsson in the 13th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Narciso Sindo made a kick off. The supporters of Patricio Rey Futbol Club booed when Djurgården Sthlm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Bammerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Salvino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raul Gar having to make a save. The Patricio Rey Futbol Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Patricio Rey Futbol Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
