After 7 played minutes Djurgården Sthlm got a freekick which was hit by Holger Rolandsson. The corner led Attard Gunners's Andrea Xuereb to a score. 1-0 in the 10th minute. Andrea Xuereb succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 13th playminute. Djurgården Sthlm's Raul Gar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Djurgården Sthlm from getting a goal against them. Lawrence De Marco scored 3-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Gar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Stoicea in the 21st minute of play forced Attard Gunners's goalkeeper Amadeo Rapinett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Timothy Utter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jake Debono could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Raul Gar made a huge save. After 26 played minutes Djurgården Sthlm got a freekick which was hit by Timothy Utter. In the 27th minute, Jake Debono got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Attard Gunners's Mario Pullicino in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Djurgården Sthlm's goalie prevented a goal. Krister Hedberg kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Djurgården Sthlm's zone, Jake Debono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Gar came out of the goal and Jake Debono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Timothy Utter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Jake Debono in the 38th minute really tested Raul Gar's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Lawrence De Marco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Gar having to interfere. With a little luck, Djurgården Sthlm's Raul Gar got control of the ball when Joshua Demanuele tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Attard Gunners booed when Djurgården Sthlm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Mossberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrea Xuereb struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Raul Gar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Attard Gunners. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lawrence De Marco to strike the kick off in the second half. Raul Gar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 58 minutes into the match, Albert Diacono had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raul Gar. Djurgården Sthlm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albert Diacono was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 61stth minute of the game Andrea Xuereb who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Djurgården Sthlm's Raul Gar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 62 minutes, Andrea Xuereb made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Djurgården Sthlm's Raul Gar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Attard Gunners were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Djurgården Sthlm's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jake Debono took the corner. 69 minutes into the game, Attard Gunners's Andrea Xuereb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raul Gar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. When Jonas Tholsson fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Djurgården Sthlm's protests and gave Jonas Tholsson a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Djurgården Sthlm defense, Albert Diacono kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raul Gar. The Djurgården Sthlm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raul Gar should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Djurgården Sthlm booed when Attard Gunners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Tabone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Attard Gunners walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
