In the 17th minute Ermis Xintarianos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Drewitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermis Xintarianos scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lukas Drewitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Charis Mantalakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lukas Drewitz. The Heren Istarion's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charis Mantalakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The Heren Istarion's Lukas Drewitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoros Tsioris in the 29th minute of play. Lukas Drewitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charis Mantalakis in the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to The Heren Istarion getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Endoh De Cat hit a great ball. The Heren Istarion made a substitution. Big Brainovich replaced Oliver Ahlquist. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Mattei got free with Lukas Drewitz in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Lazaros Kouros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Khamzat Chimaev in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thanasis Vrasidas saved Mean Machine from getting behind. Thanasis Vrasidas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elberg Azov in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Khamzat Chimaev made a kick off. Thanasis Vrasidas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elberg Azov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Nikitaras in the 57th minute of play forced The Heren Istarion's goalkeeper Lukas Drewitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mean Machine's Lazaros Kouros got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Lazaros Kouros's late challenge caught a The Heren Istarion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lazaros Kouros helped the player get up and apologised. Lazaros Kouros hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Lukas Drewitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charis Mantalakis in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to The Heren Istarion getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jan-Ove Berglund hit a great ball. Lukas Drewitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Mattei, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The audience was convinced that Christian Mattei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lukas Drewitz was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Lukas Drewitz came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Mean Machine's Nikos Nikitaras. But to his dismay, Nikos Nikitaras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. Mean Machine's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
