The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot 16 in the game by Gaspar Viator from a close distance when the talented Amato Heyboer managed to make a qualified save. Araucampeón Retirado's players were relieved. When Esteban Hever came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the INFIERNO KSK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Hever couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Ruperto Meder managed to get in a good position for a shot. INFIERNO KSK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruperto Meder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amato Heyboer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaspar Viator got free with Amato Heyboer in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Araucampeón Retirado's goalkeeper Amato Heyboer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amato Heyboer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaspar Viator in the 31st minute. A nice corner shot did that Honorio Kowalesko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Federico Ruisko quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Santiago Abela Medici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Ruisko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marino Ansola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gaspar Viator came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the INFIERNO KSK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Viator couldn't finish the play. Santiago Abela Medici received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Amato Heyboer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

53 minutes into the match, Araucampeón Retirado's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Meder came free, but Amato Heyboer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gaspar Viator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 60 minutes into the game, Gaspar Viator cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Amato Heyboer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 62 minutes into the game, INFIERNO KSK's Gaspar Viator nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amato Heyboer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Amato Heyboer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Hever in the 65th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Araucampeón Retirado's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Meder came free, but Amato Heyboer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Araucampeón Retirado's zone, Gaspar Viator stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amato Heyboer came out of the goal and Gaspar Viator tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Federico Ruisko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Neruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 77 minutes Araucampeón Retirado's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Santiago Abela Medici who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marino Ansola in the 80th minute of play forced INFIERNO KSK's goalkeeper Federico Ruisko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Victorino Lalla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INFIERNO KSK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Araucampeón Retirado the free kick. The supporters of Araucampeón Retirado booed when INFIERNO KSK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Lalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute Gaspar Viator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amato Heyboer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorio Kowalesko in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Federico Ruisko saved INFIERNO KSK from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The INFIERNO KSK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Araucampeón Retirado had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
