The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yıldıray Kudsi during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abdi Mehmet Kayaer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdi Saygın Birhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İrfan Genç in the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Mirkelam Kiram managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laboon SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mirkelam Kiram was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdi Saygın Birhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
