Putra Rewulu's Adrianus Tambunan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kelaino Mbappè in the 20th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Putra Rewulu got a freekick which was hit by Pär Goy. 24 minutes into the match, Putra Rewulu's goal looked a bit too open when Walery Rekawiczka came free, but Adrianus Tambunan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Modlau's corner Czeslaw Miecznikowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adrianus Tambunan quite easily take care of the ball. In the 28th minute, Hu Jie Rong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Putra Rewulu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 33 minutes into the game, Kelaino Mbappè was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Modlau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Putra Rewulu the free kick. Hu Jie Rong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Lukasz Traczewski made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Modlau's zone, Edyana Arbi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukasz Traczewski came out of the goal and Edyana Arbi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Pär Goy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Hu Jie Rong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Modlau made a substitution. Zlatin Ibrahimović replaced Kelaino Mbappè. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pär Goy was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Modlau got a freekick which was hit by Zlatin Ibrahimović. Adrianus Tambunan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima in the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Pär Goy came free, but Lukasz Traczewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Pär Goy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lukasz Traczewski was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Edyana Arbi made a precise shot to the right of Lukasz Traczewski. Modlau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Zlatin Ibrahimović who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Adrianus Tambunan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Modlau's zone, Pär Goy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukasz Traczewski came out of the goal and Pär Goy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Modlau getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Czeslaw Miecznikowski hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes Modlau got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Miecznikowski. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hu Jie Rong in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lukasz Traczewski saved Modlau from getting behind. Bento Tanonaka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lukasz Traczewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Tanonaka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Modlau getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Krzysztof Klejnowski hit a great ball. Modlau's Lukasz Traczewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hu Jie Rong in the 92nd minute of play. Edyana Arbi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Putra Rewulu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Modlau had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
