An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Koch in the 11th minute of play forced Ciruel Academy's goalkeeper Jacob Alavedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Lucas Grijander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richard Haraldsson. I Rossoneri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Grijander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 20 minutes of play, I Rossoneri's Christian Vallin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacob Alavedra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucas Grijander did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Richard Haraldsson 29 minutes into the match. I Rossoneri's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Lucas Grijander scored to the left of an out of position Richard Haraldsson, making the score, 3-1. I Rossoneri's Richard Haraldsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Grijander in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Ciruel Academy's Zarando Cordoba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. Zarando Cordoba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Richard Haraldsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Zarando Cordoba slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute, Lucas Grijander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Haraldsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. I Rossoneri were furious when Kent Ahlgren was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Ciruel Academy booed when I Rossoneri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Ahlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Vallin made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Lucas Grijander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richard Haraldsson. In the 61st minute, José Puyol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciruel Academy made a substitution. Paşa Bolas replaced Thomas Morera. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Grijander in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Haraldsson saved I Rossoneri from getting behind. Jacob Alavedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Vallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Haraldsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zarando Cordoba in the 67th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the match Ciruel Academy got a corner. I Rossoneri's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. José Puyol ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that José Puyol got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Richard Haraldsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Richard Haraldsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zarando Cordoba in the 74th minute of play. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 10-1 when Lucas Grijander sped through I Rossoneri's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Richard Haraldsson. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ciruel Academy fans cheered their team off the field, for while I Rossoneri had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
