Estrellas de Caballito's Nunez Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Tola in the 6th minute of play. Hilario Sal kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Alberto Refugio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Diez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ubaldo Vedillo fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's protests and gave Ubaldo Vedillo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Estrellas de Caballito booed when Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Vedillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Bento got free with Fabio Diez in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Hilario Sal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nunez Astudillo. Estrellas de Caballito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hilario Sal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jeronimo Bento's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabio Diez firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nunez Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Sal in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Tola in the 29th minute of play forced Estrellas de Caballito's goalkeeper Nunez Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Javiar took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nunez Astudillo. Nunez Astudillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Zé Tola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Estrellas de Caballito's Nunez Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Javiar in the 40th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severiano Hustaz in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Diez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 44 played minutes Olimpo de Bahia Blanca got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Pinto. Estrellas de Caballito's Nunez Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Javiar in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Estrellas de Caballito's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Javiar came free, but Nunez Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Zé Tola made the kick off in the second half. Fausto Lertxun was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 51 minutes into the match. After 52 played minutes Estrellas de Caballito got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Lertxun. In the 52nd minute of the match Hilario Sal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nunez Astudillo skillfully saved the ball. In the 59th minute, Hilario Sal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Patricio Sabin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Javiar to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Bonifacio Javiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the game, Alberto Refugio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estrellas de Caballito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olimpo de Bahia Blanca the free kick. Alberto Refugio hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Igor Erruki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabio Diez. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Benicio Mateo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estrellas de Caballito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olimpo de Bahia Blanca the free kick. Benicio Mateo kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Ciriaco Afonso's late challenge caught a Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciriaco Afonso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Ciriaco Afonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeronimo Bento during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Estrellas de Caballito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Bento to maneuver through the defense. Estrellas de Caballito's Nunez Astudillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Estrellas de Caballito from getting a goal against them. Igor Erruki hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Bonifacio Javiar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Nunez Astudillo made a huge save. With a little luck, Estrellas de Caballito's Nunez Astudillo got control of the ball when Bonifacio Javiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute, Severiano Hustaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
