Arianos DM's Augusto Batalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Edip Rüstem in the 18th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Mehmet Edip Rüstem managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Edip Rüstem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Batalla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Akşemseddin Arslangiray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Bakar in the 22nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Mehmet Edip Rüstem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Batalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Refik Akdoğan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Batalla having to interfere. After a rather tough play, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Müjdat Akgöl got a free kick in the 61st minute. When Jeronimo Bento came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Arianos DM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Bento couldn't finish the play. Jeronimo Bento charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeronimo Bento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeronimo Bento hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match.
