In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monumento Sports's goalkeeper Natanael Sena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Gernando Quintal made a precise shot to the right of Robustiano Nel. Olivos Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 17th minute, one of Olivos Futbol Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Olivos Futbol Club. After 23 played minutes Olivos Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Seber. Gernando Quintal struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Robustiano Nel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monumento Sports. With a little luck, Monumento Sports's Natanael Sena got control of the ball when Angelino Seber tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goalkeeper Natanael Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Ondino. A collision led to Olivos Futbol Club getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Honorio Elodio hit a great ball. Robustiano Nel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Natanael Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Patrido in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Monumento Sports getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Diego Ramos hit a great ball. Natanael Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelino Seber in the 47th minute. After the first half Monumento Sports were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

55 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Elodio came free, but Natanael Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Jusepe kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gernando Quintal got free with Robustiano Nel in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the game, Bunda Brilhante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monumento Sports's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olivos Futbol Club the free kick. The supporters of Olivos Futbol Club booed when Monumento Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bunda Brilhante didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Rafael Tavio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natanael Sena skillfully saved the ball. Robustiano Nel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Olivos Futbol Club's Robustiano Nel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Ramos in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Paulo Tasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Robustiano Nel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th match minute, Olivos Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Tavio to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Tasso in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robustiano Nel saved Olivos Futbol Club from getting behind. When Gernando Quintal came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Monumento Sports fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gernando Quintal couldn't finish the play. Luciano Ondino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natanael Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Ondino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olivos Futbol Club's Robustiano Nel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Tasso in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Monumento Sports had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
