In the 3rd minute, Nicki Nick left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZigZag Athletic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 6th minute, Jean-Paul Schuiling reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mehmet Akif Ersoy. The goal made the score 1-1. Frits van Loo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Nestor in the 13th minute of play. Frits van Loo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicki Nick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicki Nick scored 1-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frits van Loo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, ZigZag Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Paul Schuiling came free, but Mehmet Akif Ersoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gertjan Baars fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Akif Ersoy having to interfere. Ronny Koole hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Gerjan Staarman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the game, Bengt-Rune Öman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Frits van Loo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mehmet Akif Ersoy made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Jean-Paul Schuiling sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean-Paul Schuiling made a kick off. Frits van Loo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Nestor in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Nicki Nick left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZigZag Athletic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. SV Wissenkerke's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Nicki Nick scored to the left of an out of position Frits van Loo, making the score, 1-6. Nicki Nick took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frits van Loo. Frits van Loo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. Frits van Loo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicki Nick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ZigZag Athletic's Mehmet Akif Ersoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Paul Schuiling in the 78th minute of play. If Nicki Nick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ZigZag Athletic's Jesper Vollander was substituted for Nicki Nick. Frits van Loo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Nestor, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Mehmet Akif Ersoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Paul Schuiling in the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by ZigZag Athletic's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Bombarda was slow to take the kick. During this time SV Wissenkerke's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on SV Wissenkerke's corner Mariano Bombarda fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mehmet Akif Ersoy quite easily take care of the ball. The ZigZag Athletic fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when ZigZag Athletic's Jesper Vollander looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
