After 12 played minutes -BZF- Viitorul Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Luican. Yanko Karaivanov made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ferdinand Şumălan sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Şumălan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yanko Karaivanov. DOROSTOL Ss's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinand Şumălan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ferdinand Şumălan made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 33rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Yanko Karaivanov would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Sasho Temkov kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Iulian Nisipeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kostadin Desov, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Iulian Nisipeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belcho Bekov in the 46th minute of play. Nicodim Vătăşel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Yanko Karaivanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petru Pamfil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes in the game, Belcho Bekov fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Iulian Nisipeanu having to interfere. Hristofor Zhelev charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hristofor Zhelev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of -BZF- Viitorul Buzau booed when DOROSTOL Ss was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hristofor Zhelev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 minutes, Sasho Temkov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DOROSTOL Ss and the -BZF- Viitorul Buzau players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Sasho Temkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match Ferdinand Şumălan shot from a long distance. The crowd rose to their feet as Vencho Hristoskov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iulian Nisipeanu. That made the score 2-3 in the 67 minute of play. In the 72nd minute, DOROSTOL Ss's Hristofor Zhelev ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iulian Nisipeanu. Iulian Nisipeanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Vencho Hristoskov scored 2-5 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iulian Nisipeanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, DOROSTOL Ss's Slaveyko Tzotzev got a free kick in the 79th minute. -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Petru Pamfil got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81 minutes, Ferdinand Şumălan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Viitorul Buzau and the DOROSTOL Ss players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to -BZF- Viitorul Buzau getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ferdinand Şumălan hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's zone, Kostadin Desov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iulian Nisipeanu came out of the goal and Kostadin Desov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kostadin Desov might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iulian Nisipeanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kostadin Desov ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kostadin Desov got free with Iulian Nisipeanu in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of DOROSTOL Ss booed when -BZF- Viitorul Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petru Pamfil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gelu Brăescu hit a great ball. DOROSTOL Ss's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
