The referee ignored ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s protests and gave Pantelis Iordanakos a yellow card for diving instead. Pantelis Iordanakos kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Huang Hao Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marios Kaliasis in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of forsal FC booed when ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthimos Kopitsis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Achilleas Stelakoglou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. forsal FC's Huang Hao Chuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marios Kaliasis in the 22nd minute of play. Michail Panagidis's late challenge caught a forsal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michail Panagidis helped the player get up and apologised. Achilleas Stelakoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huang Hao Chuan having to interfere. Paraskevas Papandreou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Mattioli went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Achilleas Stelakoglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Mattioli came free, but Paraskevas Papandreou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paraskevas Papandreou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfred Szpakowski went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ercole Di Paolo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Huang Hao Chuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakis Labiris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marios Kaliasis to make the kick off. Meng Mo Feng's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Paraskevas Papandreou firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Eustratios Geropanagiotis got a free kick in the 67th minute. Meng Mo Feng took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paraskevas Papandreou. Paraskevas Papandreou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. If Marios Kaliasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Meng Mo Feng reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paraskevas Papandreou. The goal made the score 1-4. Meng Mo Feng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Paraskevas Papandreou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to forsal FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Sandaili Solbeida hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Sakis Labiris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of forsal FC booed when ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Leismann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paraskevas Papandreou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Mattioli in the 91st minute. forsal FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
