Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Guido Haritz kicked off to start the match. Nico de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. MINEIROS's Serginho Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Haritz in the 4th minute of play. The corner ended in Vágner Gaspar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Legio X Eqvestris's Sergio Massa did a great save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Gustavo Teles during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Legio X Eqvestris booed when MINEIROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Gustavo Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Legio X Eqvestris's Emiliano Louis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serginho Taffarel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Serginho Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Haritz in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, MINEIROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Amorim to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Anacleto Mincho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serginho Taffarel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Naldo Baiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgard Michael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Marcelo Florin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Louis in the 40th minute of play forced MINEIROS's goalkeeper Serginho Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th match minute, MINEIROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, MINEIROS's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Michael came free, but Serginho Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

53 minutes into the match, MINEIROS's goalkeeper Serginho Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Louis. The crowd rose to their feet as Emiliano Louis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Serginho Taffarel. That made the score 0-3 in the 54 minute of play. Benê Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 66 minutes of play, Legio X Eqvestris's Guido Haritz made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serginho Taffarel was left in no man's land by his defense there! MINEIROS's Maicon Quintal was substituted for Benê Amorim. Legio X Eqvestris's Guido Haritz got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, Legio X Eqvestris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Estevon to maneuver through the defense. Serginho Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Louis, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Cecilio Eskuin's late challenge caught a MINEIROS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cecilio Eskuin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute of the match Christian Fernandes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergio Massa skillfully saved the ball. Sergio Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Quintal in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Emiliano Louis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nando Leão hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Emiliano Louis scored 0-5 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serginho Taffarel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Legio X Eqvestris's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
