Jonathan Vie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Cordeara having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Jon-Egil Gjelsvik notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Kilometro 30's Benjamin Cordeara. After having played for 34 minutes, Jonathan Vie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åsnes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Vie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Åsnes fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Åsnes's Jonathan Vie looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Vie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin Cordeara having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Hugo Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Waaler having to interfere. Jonathan Vie took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Cordeara. Benjamin Cordeara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Jonathan Vie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin Cordeara having to make a save. Kilometro 30's Benjamin Cordeara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Vie in the 67th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Vie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Cordeara was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Åsnes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
