After a defensive mix-up in Clube dos pro's zone, Jon-Egil Gjelsvik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Quadros came out of the goal and Jon-Egil Gjelsvik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th play minute Bernt Alsaker came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Toninho Quadros. 1-0. 16 minutes into the game, Jon-Egil Gjelsvik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Toninho Quadros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 21 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Jon Hesjedal. Abelardo Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Moisés Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Christer Waaler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Waaler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Costa in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Åsnes booed when Clube dos pro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rony Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Bernt Alsaker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Clube dos pro's Augusto Costa got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 46 played minutes Clube dos pro got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Zonta. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernt Alsaker was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute Bernt Alsaker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube dos pro's goalkeeper Toninho Quadros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jon-Egil Gjelsvik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toninho Quadros having to make a save. Eugênio Linhares got a throw-in 76 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Franklin Zonta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Alsaker in the 82nd minute of play forced Clube dos pro's goalkeeper Toninho Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toninho Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Alsaker in the 87th minute of the match. Filipe Toledo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 94thth minute of the game Bernt Alsaker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube dos pro's Toninho Quadros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Clube dos pro players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Åsnes.
