Guib Cortina had several of the Öllsjö FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Karl-Magnus Högström as he didn't even see the shot coming. Herbert Ekegren struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Karl-Magnus Högström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guib Cortina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Öllsjö FC's Knut Uggstedt got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 29 minutes of play, Öllsjö FC's Herbert Ekegren made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Etxekopar Devesa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guib Cortina might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Magnus Högström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guib Cortina ran back to his position shaking his head. Karl-Magnus Högström made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Guib Cortina sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jörgen Dalkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Öllsjö FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörgen Dalkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Etxekopar Devesa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fraco Beite's late challenge caught a Öllsjö FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fraco Beite helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, one of ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ. In the 65th minute, Nicanor Bajuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens-Erik Rydberg kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Guib Cortina put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Karl-Magnus Högström. The crowd rose to their feet as Öllsjö FC's Herbert Ekegren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Etxekopar Devesa. That made the score 4-3 after 74 minutes of play. In the 80th minute, Sverker Åberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Etxekopar Devesa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guib Cortina in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Magnus Högström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Öllsjö FC's Knut Uggstedt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lucian Caneiro, made in the 94th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Öllsjö FC defense, Guib Cortina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Magnus Högström. The Öllsjö FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Magnus Högström should have stopped the shot.
