Crişan Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Juskowiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Ciclista FC's Justo Osorio got a free kick in the 30th minute. Lajos Latabár's late challenge caught a Ciclista FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lajos Latabár helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrzej Juskowiak in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Crişan Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute, Rigoberto Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Andrzej Juskowiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Crişan Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Juskowiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrzej Juskowiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Crişan Taffarel having to interfere. In the 74th minute Lajos Latabár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Crişan Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cenan Savlet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aydemir Okyar having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ciclista FC defense, Andrzej Juskowiak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Crişan Taffarel. The Ciclista FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Crişan Taffarel should have stopped the shot. Aydemir Okyar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Benedetto in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Andrashida's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amador Francesco was slow to take the kick. During this time Ciclista FC's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Andrashida getting a freekick after 92 minutes play.
