The throw-in from Rutenio Kovasic in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Broom of the System DA13's Amos Mastrocola. 16 minutes into the game, Ferdinando Walcher cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nicodemo Recalde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinando Walcher got free with Nicodemo Recalde in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ermanno Briganti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Vicente Soler in the 21st minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Broom of the System DA13's goal looked a bit too open when Andrés Iturrieta came free, but Ermanno Briganti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Broom of the System DA13 booed when VILLANUEVA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Daroch didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind VILLANUEVA FC's goalkeeper Nicodemo Recalde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Broom of the System DA13's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dino Cannavacciuolo in the 32nd minute. After 33 minutes, Jorge Vicente Soler made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Broom of the System DA13's Ermanno Briganti tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferdinando Walcher was the one to do the kick off. Reinaldo Daroch charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinaldo Daroch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of VILLANUEVA FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Broom of the System DA13:s goal. Nicodemo Recalde had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Dino Cannavacciuolo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Amos Guarisi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicodemo Recalde. VILLANUEVA FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. VILLANUEVA FC's Nicodemo Recalde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eraldo Fantauzzi in the 72nd minute of play. VILLANUEVA FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dino Cannavacciuolo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Broom of the System DA13's Dino Cannavacciuolo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nicodemo Recalde in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Eraldo Fantauzzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Broom of the System DA13's Aldo Petrini got a free kick in the 90th minute. Broom of the System DA13's Francesco Petito suffered a concussion after 95 minutes and had to leave the field. When Rutenio Kovasic fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VILLANUEVA FC's protests and gave Rutenio Kovasic a yellow card for diving instead. Broom of the System DA13's Alvaro Mastrangelo was substituted for Francesco Petito. Rutenio Kovasic hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Ruperto Garbiso charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruperto Garbiso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 98 played minutes VILLANUEVA FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Garbiso. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the VILLANUEVA FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
