Mathis Goorts charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathis Goorts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ludwig de Pelsmaecker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harun Eraltay, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Thomas Van Damme kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Harun Eraltay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Deportivo Español's Pedro Catalano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Van Nel in the 70th minute of play. Wim Van Nel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Pedro Catalano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Catalano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andris De Baere in the 77th minute of play. Pedro Catalano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Van Nel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the game, Andris De Baere cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Pedro Catalano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Lucio Cordarrol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
