After 3 minutes, Guillermo Matas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Pacífico FC and the Black Diamond players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guillermo Matas hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 5 minutes, Pompiliu Moromete made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Pacífico FC's Samuel Santa Cruz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dragoş Potopea in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Santa Cruz saved Costa Pacífico FC from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Costa Pacífico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Moromete came free, but Samuel Santa Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Pacífico FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Eguzki was slow to take the kick. During this time Black Diamond's players had a chance to rest. Cazimir Zbuchea was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 15th minute, Filomeno Tolhauzsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Black Diamond's Joel Eguzki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Santa Cruz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Black Diamond's Nechifor Zbuchea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Black Diamond from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Black Diamond's Nechifor Zbuchea got control of the ball when Aníbal Aguacero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aníbal Aguacero struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Nechifor Zbuchea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Pacífico FC. 0-2 became the score in the 27th minute when Pompiliu Moromete elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Samuel Santa Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pompiliu Moromete's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Dragoş Potopea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adelio Montalva hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Aníbal Aguacero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nechifor Zbuchea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Black Diamond's Pompiliu Moromete in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Joel Eguzki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samuel Santa Cruz. Costa Pacífico FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pompiliu Moromete to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pompiliu Moromete in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Santa Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samuel Santa Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Geangu in the 55th minute of play. Costa Pacífico FC's Guillermo Matas got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pompiliu Moromete succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 64th playminute. Samuel Santa Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pompiliu Moromete in the 67th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aníbal Aguacero in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nechifor Zbuchea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Costa Pacífico FC booed when Black Diamond was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Zbuchea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 played minutes Black Diamond got a freekick which was hit by Dragoş Potopea. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Pompiliu Moromete sped through Costa Pacífico FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Samuel Santa Cruz. A collision led to Costa Pacífico FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Filomeno Tolhauzsen hit a great ball. Cătălin Geangu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Samuel Santa Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pompiliu Moromete, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Baki Hanmark struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Nechifor Zbuchea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Pacífico FC. In the 94th minute, Joel Eguzki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samuel Santa Cruz made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Cătălin Geangu sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Black Diamond's Samuel Santa Cruz threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cătălin Geangu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the last second Samuel Santa Cruz throw himself and got hold of the ball when Pompiliu Moromete in the 98thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When the final whistle sounded Black Diamond left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Pacífico FC.
