With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ted Ödmann in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Enekoitz saved Monte Hermoso Beach from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ted Ödmann during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ted Ödmann hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when Djurgården IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Kinnman didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Djurgården IF's Dan Palmquist got control of the ball when Alvaro Orkatz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Djurgården IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Benedicto Endura scored to the left of an out of position Dan Palmquist, making the score, 0-2. A collision led to Djurgården IF getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gottfrid Eriksson hit a great ball. If Alvaro Orkatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st play minute Alvaro Orkatz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dan Palmquist. 0-3. In the 67th minute, Edvin Walroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Efrain Etxatxu might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Palmquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Efrain Etxatxu ran back to his position shaking his head. Dan Palmquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Endura in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Benedicto Endura recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dan Palmquist. Benedicto Endura showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Monte Hermoso Beach's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
